The benefits of heirship

Wednesday Jul 02, 2025

Wednesday Jul 02, 2025

What if the miraculous wasn’t reserved for a select few, but was your spiritual birthright? Today, Apostle Williams unpacks the benefits and authority given to believers through the righteousness of Christ. He emphasizes that miracles, healings, and casting out devils are not exclusive to pastors or spiritual leaders but are available to all who believe. Citing Mark 16:17 and Acts 3:16, he teaches that faith in the name of Jesus—not fasting—is the true catalyst for supernatural results, while fasting serves as a means of sanctification. He challenges listeners to embrace the gift of tongues, understand their divine authority, and walk in the boldness of the Spirit, just as Jesus intended in Luke 10 and 1 Corinthians 12.

Apostle goes on to highlight the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit, who intercedes through unutterable groans and reveals the deep things of God that no human mind can conceive (Romans 8:26-27, 1 Corinthians 2:9-11). He urges believers to develop a consistent, intimate relationship with the Spirit, seeking God’s mind in every area of life. This revelation, he explains, leads to peace, discernment, and alignment with God's perfect will. Drawing from Deuteronomy 29:29, Ephesians 6:18, and Jude 20, he concludes by affirming that spiritual truths are spiritually discerned, and only those walking closely with the Spirit can truly unlock God's mysteries and live with kingdom confidence.

What if revelation wasn't reserved for a few, but promised to all the righteous? In this message that opens July as the "Month of Revelation," Apostle Williams teaches that every believer made righteous by the blood of Jesus has the divine right to receive insight directly from God. Righteousness, he explains, is not earned by works or behaviour but is freely imputed through faith in Christ, making each born-again Christian the very “righteousness of God.” While salvation comes by grace, Apostle Williams reminds listeners that they are saved to do good works, allowing the character of Christ to form in them and lead to a life that turns from sin—not by personal effort but through reliance on God’s grace.

Central to this transformation is the Holy Spirit, who, according to Romans 8:26-27, intercedes for believers and empowers their weakness with divine strength. Apostle Williams reveals that true prayer is not about schedule but relationship—“love hours” with God, where intimacy takes priority over routine. Through anointed tools like Psalms and the Lord’s Prayer, believers are invited to journey into the “heart of the Father.” The message concludes with a prophetic anointing for ease in every area of struggle, urging believers to let love—not duty—fuel their giving, intercession, and service, as the church prepares to reveal God’s glory in a world soon to be shaken.

What does it truly mean to walk in righteousness—especially in a time when the signs of the end are all around us? In this timely message, Apostle Williams unpacks the urgency of living righteously in what he calls “the appointed time” and “the Year of the Righteous.” Citing a vision of believers preaching, healing, and driving out evil spirits, he warns that church attendance alone will not prepare anyone for the rapture. Instead, only those who live in full commitment to Christ—those who have “washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb”—will be ready when He returns. Referencing figures like Noah, Job, and Abraham, Apostle Williams outlines what sets the righteous apart: they walk with God, fear Him, and shun evil.

He then shares nine “rules of engagement” for a righteous life, including prayer, fasting, holiness, and peace. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 10, Apostle Williams warns against idolatry, sexual sin, grumbling, and blending Christian life with occult or cultural practices such as horoscopes or traditional rites that honour demons. He stresses that “everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial,” and urges believers to live for God’s glory and the salvation of others. It’s a call to purity, power, and preparedness in these prophetic times.

What does it truly mean to walk in righteousness as a believer today? In this sermon, Apostle unpacks the concept of righteousness under the New Covenant, explaining that it is no longer credited through works or law, but imputed through faith in Christ. Citing figures like Noah, Abraham, and Job, he explains that while they were credited as righteous for walking with God and fearing Him, New Testament believers are now made the righteousness of God through Jesus’s sacrifice (2 Corinthians 5:21). This new identity is not earned but received—granting believers divine capacity, spiritual authority, and complete freedom from condemnation, curses, and Satan’s jurisdiction.

Apostle Williams urges believers to live with the awareness that God's Spirit dwells within them, enabling them to manifest Christ in everyday life. Righteousness is not just a title—it transforms how believers think, pray, and act. A righteous person walks with God, shuns evil, seeks peace, and lives in holiness (Hebrews 12:14). He encourages fasting, praying in the Spirit, and daily walking with God as key to spiritual sharpness. This understanding leads to a confident, empowered Christian life—where the believer lives as God intended: free, full of authority, and fruitful in every way.

What does it really mean to walk in righteousness—and how does that shape every part of your life? This week, Apostle Williams has been teaching on "Walking in Righteousness," revealing that righteousness under the New Covenant is not something earned but a gift from God, bestowed through Jesus Christ. Building from Romans 4:3, where Abraham’s faith was credited as righteousness, Apostle Williams shows that believers today are not just credited but made the righteousness of God, as confirmed in 2 Corinthians 5:21. This transformation is rooted in the promises of the New Covenant from Jeremiah 31 and reaffirmed in Hebrews 8, where God declares that He will "remember their sins no more." With this divine endowment comes freedom—not only from the constraints of the Old Law but also from outdated doctrines like generational curses, corrected in Ezekiel 18, where God states that each person is responsible for their own sin.

Yet this gift of righteousness is not a license for passivity. Apostle Williams teaches that true righteousness results in visible godliness—manifested in how believers care for their health, conduct business, lead their homes, and engage with the world. He reinforces the biblical truth that faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26) and urges Christians to demonstrate their righteous nature through practical action. Quoting God’s charge to Abraham in Genesis 17:1-2, he encourages every believer to "walk before God and be blameless," just as Enoch walked with God in Genesis 5. The message closes with a call to spiritual awareness, reminding listeners that actions are born from thoughts, and only by walking with God daily can they live in alignment with their divine identity and overcome life’s challenges with authority.

What does it really mean to be righteous in God’s eyes? Here, Apostle unpacks the true definition of "Walking in Righteousness," challenging common assumptions. He explains that righteousness is not about perfection or good works, but about being blameless and upright through faith in God. Drawing from the examples of Abraham and Paul’s writings in Romans 4, Apostle Williams highlights how righteousness was credited to Abraham before the law existed, solely because he believed. Now, under the New Covenant, righteousness is no longer credited but imputed to believers—transferred freely through the finished work of Christ. Referencing 2 Corinthians 5:21, he affirms that Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God.

This truth has sweeping implications: because of Jesus’ sacrifice, God no longer remembers our sins (Hebrews 8:12, Romans 4:7-8), and the law no longer has authority over those in Christ. Believers have been rescued from darkness (Colossians 1:13) and are no longer subject to generational curses or punishment for past sins. Apostle Williams urges listeners not to let Satan use guilt to rob them of their inheritance. Instead, he calls every believer to embrace this grace-filled identity, walking confidently in God's righteousness—not by works, but by faith. This revelation empowers believers to fulfil their divine purpose, knowing that God sees them as righteous through Christ.

How does righteousness affect your body, mind, and spirit? In this sermon, Apostle Williams expands on “walking in righteousness” by connecting the dots between godliness and holistic well-being. Quoting 1 Timothy 4:8, he explains that while physical exercise offers some benefit, godliness is profitable in all things, including health. A godly life naturally incorporates wise habits—like eating well, exercising, and fasting—which foster physical strength and immunity. Apostle Williams also underscores the impact of mental and emotional purity, noting that malice, bitterness, or unresolved pain can manifest as physical illness, including depression. Maintaining a good mind and pure heart, he says, is not only scriptural but essential for vibrant health. He even points to Paul's miraculous survival after a viper bite as evidence of the divine immunity available through righteousness.

The sermon goes deeper to clarify that righteousness isn’t earned through law or moral effort but is received through faith in God. Using Noah, Abraham, and Job as examples, Apostle Williams illustrates that each was considered righteous because they believed, feared, and walked with God. This principle is fulfilled in Christ: New Testament believers don’t just receive righteousness by credit—it is imputed through the finished work of Jesus. Referencing Romans 3:21-22 and Romans 4:7-8, he explains that all who believe are justified freely by God’s grace, and their sins are completely obliterated, never to be counted against them. True righteousness, he concludes, is not performance—it is the life of one whose faith aligns with God’s will, producing blamelessness, divine favour, and the power to overcome both sin and sickness.

In a world filled with uncertainty and increasing global turmoil, what does it really mean to be righteous? In this timely sermon, Apostle Williams invites believers to re-examine their understanding of righteousness—not as a checklist of good behaviour, but as a deep, relational walk with God rooted in faith. With prophetic clarity, he links current events—like the Israel-Iran conflict and the prophesied UK revival—to the urgency of aligning with God's heart in these last days.

Drawing from the lives of Noah, Abraham, and Job, Apostle Williams reveals that righteousness flows not from perfection but from faith and the fear of God. He teaches that it is credited to believers as a gift, not earned by works—just as Romans 4 and Psalm 32 describe. Christ paid the full price, allowing all who believe to be called "the righteousness of God". This truth liberates believers from guilt and empowers them to walk in spiritual authority—healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out devils—fuelled not by striving, but by faith. The message is clear: in these prophetic times, righteousness is not just a status—it is the key to manifesting God's glory on earth.

Preparing for his coming

Apostle Williams addresses the critical theme of time and eternity, sounding a prophetic alarm rooted in the book of Amos—that God reveals His intentions to His prophets. Citing recent global events, including the conflict between Israel and Iran and America's swift involvement, Apostle Williams warns that these developments align with a divine revelation of a global "storm" lasting three months and concluding in September. He draws sobering parallels to the sudden passing of Pastor Josiah, whose earthly accomplishments became void in death, reminding listeners that life is fragile, time is short, and only what is done in Christ will count. The message strongly stresses readiness for the Rapture, when some will be taken and others left behind to face great tribulation, demonic manifestations, and the rise of a global leader of darkness.

Apostle Williams proclaims that faith in God establishes a person, while belief in God's prophet brings prosperity. He passionately teaches on the role of the Holy Spirit, referencing Joel 2:28 to affirm that every true believer is capable of prophesying and operating in supernatural power, peace, and wisdom. He urges believers to live by the Spirit, not the world, drawing on Ephesians 2:1 and Colossians. Salvation, he stresses, is urgent and freely available—Jesus washes away even scarlet sin and conforms the saved into His own likeness (Romans 8:29). Apostle Williams concludes with a compelling call to righteousness, warning that those who reject Christ now may suffer unspeakable torment later. Yet, for those who respond, there is eternal hope, divine authority on earth, and full assurance that their past is remembered no more.

What does it truly mean to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit in today’s world? Apostle explores God’s intention for all His children to function in the fullness of the Spirit’s power. Rooted in the prophecy of Joel 2:28, he reminds believers that prophesying, seeing visions, and dreaming dreams are meant to be everyday realities for those filled with the Spirit. This prophetic vision, cited again in Acts 2, is presented not as ancient history but as an ongoing promise. Apostle Williams illustrates its relevance by recounting a vision he had of a ship tossed by storms—representing global instability—which was swiftly confirmed by recent world events, including Israel’s attack on Iran and the ripple effect it had on the global economy and fuel prices. He urges believers to stay alert to world affairs and economic trends, not distracted by time-wasting entertainment, so they can perceive divine insight and walk in wisdom.

The message also reinforces that operating in the Holy Spirit is not a spiritual luxury, but a birthright for all born-again believers, regardless of background. Apostle Williams teaches that true success and lasting peace come from submitting to the Holy Spirit, who enables integrity and influence. On Father’s Day, he draws practical wisdom from 2 Chronicles 26, showing how King Uzziah’s success stemmed from both his father’s good conduct and the spiritual mentoring of Zechariah. He reminds listeners of the lasting impact of godly fatherhood, both earthly and spiritual, pointing to Proverbs 23:22 and Ephesians 6:4 to stress honour, discipline, and spiritual nurturing. The sermon closes with the bold encouragement that with the Holy Spirit, no believer is ever unfortunate—fortune and purpose will pursue those who walk in step with God’s Spirit.
